Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced EVV Test Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on the testing and validation of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems to ensure that they meet functional, integration, and compliance standards within Medicaid programs. The EVV Test Analyst will work closely with the development, business, and technical teams to execute test plans, report on issues, and ensure a high-quality system implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate the functionality and performance of EVV systems
  • Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify that the EVV solution meets business and technical requirements
  • Validate data integration and workflows between EVV systems and Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and identify test data needs
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and retest fixes
  • Provide detailed test execution results, defect reports, and testing status updates to project stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts where applicable
  • Participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to understand business requirements and contribute to the overall quality of the EVV solution
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test environments, guiding users through testing processes, and addressing any issues encountered
  • Ensure all EVV testing activities comply with state and federal Medicaid regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing within Medicaid IT projects
  • Strong knowledge of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems and their integration with Medicaid programs
  • Experience with system integration testing, especially with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS)
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail) and defect tracking processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with test automation tools and scripting
  • Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies
