Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Copywriter / Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing, editing, and proofreading, with the ability to produce high-quality content that adheres to brand voice and style guidelines. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for clear and concise communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

Write, edit, and proofread content for various mediums including websites, marketing materials, technical documents, and more.

Ensure all written content adheres to AP Style and the brand's voice and style guidelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality content that meets those needs.

Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance of information presented in written materials.

Maintain and update documentation as needed to reflect changes in products, services, or policies.

Review and revise content based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.

Assist in the development of content strategies to support marketing and communication goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.

3-5 years of experience in copywriting and editing.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, flow, and style.

Experience writing and adhering to AP Style.

Excellent writing portfolio demonstrating the ability to use brand voice appropriately across various mediums.

Ability to work independently and with a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in writing for government entities.

Additional Skills:

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency with content management systems and other relevant software tools.

Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to incorporate keywords effectively into content.
