  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Ideal Profile:

  • Senior level full stack technologist with focus on frontend, back-end microservice development, AWS infrastructure and test automation.

About the team:

  • Item Cloud Blue (ICB) teams develop apps for content authoring using modern tech stacks such as Node.js, Typescript, Python, AWS, DynamoDB, React

Position Summary:

  • In this role, you'll develop the next generation of assessments using leading technologies.
  • You'll work with innovative agile teams using the full stack to solve remote testing security problems.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate on software projects with product design and technical teams
  • Develop, test, release, and maintain back-end services, front-end applications, and AWS infrastructure
  • Work as a technical contributor on an Agile team

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS required (major in an analytical field desired)
  • A minimum of 5 years' work related experience
  • Advanced experience working with Node.js, AWS, Typescript/JavaScript, NoSQL database (DynamoDB)
  • Advance experience in implementing serverless applications on AWS
  • Experience in hands-on development of software applications in a highly scaled environment
  • Experience working on Agile engineering teams
  • Experience in doing pair programming with fellow engineers
  • Some experience working in Python

Preferred Skills:

  • AWS Certified (Associate or higher
  • Ability to perform in multiple roles on a team, including testing and production support as well as development
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
  • Experience using libraries and frameworks where it makes sense, while still understanding how each line in your codebase works
  • Willingness to work on QA and develop test automation scripts and participate in code reviews
