Information Security Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to manage the auditing and monitoring of systems containing confidential information. The ideal candidate will help the organization mitigate risks by ensuring IT systems operate efficiently and securely. You will be responsible for monitoring security logs, configuring systems, and assisting with compliance audits at federal and state levels, including IRS and SSA audits.

Key responsibilities include auditing and monitoring security protocols, reporting on potential inefficiencies, and developing security policies that align with federal and state regulations. You will also assist in configuring and maintaining security management tools, implementing vulnerability scanning procedures, and responding to security issues. This role requires participation in all technology audits and preparation for external regulatory audits.

The Information Security Analyst will mentor staff and provide training on security best practices. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security safeguards during the development of IT systems. Additionally, you will stay informed on relevant regulatory changes that impact privacy, network, and cloud security.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will be required to interface with various stakeholders to understand their security needs and effectively address any concerns.
