We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Power BI Developer/Modeler to work in Juno Beach, FL onsite basis.
Pay Rate : $55 - $59/hr. W2

PROJECT DETAILS (Size, Scale, Scope):
- What is the scope of work that is being completed?
- What part of the project is this resource supporting?
- , Data mart modernization, retirement or Oracle datamart, holds over 400 reports, in pararell in NAMS, nuclear asssest management system, doing a year long upgrade, all of data is being imported to ADP, accessible through postgres and redshift, all reports needs to be refactored, need to optimize performance, using model in Powerbi to pull data

- Incremental refresh being implemented, massive data sets, to refresh data they have to take a petabyte and bring it in daily, takes a lot of work, instead incremental refresh will update specific records, understanding of SQL, need to read and understand it, little bit of data modeling, doesn't need to be a superstar data modeler to do well, needs some more than a junior data modeler, 3+ years is ideal, taking existing reports, building exact same reports to add into new model, recreating and not creating from scratch, getting data from EDP, doesn't need any cloud experience, does have AWS cloud, running through unit testing, data validation

Job Summary:
Client is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer and Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in developing data models, creating interactive dashboards, and transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that assist in decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and deploy intuitive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Implement data models and schemas that support business intelligence requirements.
Conduct data analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and utilize Incremental Refresh
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in Power BI.
Provide end-user training and support as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development and data modeling.
Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M Query.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and SQL.
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
