Lead React Engineer

TITLE: Lead React Engineer
LOCATION: New Castle, DE (Hybrid/3 days onsite)

START DATE: Immediate
SHIFT: M-F 9am-5pm EST

This role will include leading developers, align business needs to potential software solutions communicating risks and roadmaps, enhancing software running on instruments as well as clients computing environments within a cross-functional environment. Sense of initiative and can-do attitude are highly critical for this position.

What You Will Do:

• Research, design, develop and release/maintain: Application, User interface, Data analysis, Instrument control software for thermal analysis, rheological, and calorimetric instruments.
• Responsible for ongoing support of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Work within a formal development process covering the full development lifecycle.
• Provide code and supporting documentation in accordance with the coding guidelines, quality processes and applicable procedures, including team's definition of done.
• Keep a pro-active attitude to ensure continuous improvement of the software quality, work process and individual skills.
• Provide contributions to the application architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Provide product specific and technical support to internal and external users where appropriate.
• Lead the development team in delivering products by collaborating cross functionally and meeting business objectives.
• As new technologies emerge and impact our systems, continuous learning and active involvement in integrating them with our systems.

What You Will Need:

• At least 8+ years in software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience Design and developing application in React.JS
• 5+ years of experience Design and developing application in JavaScript technologies.
• Experience in leading projects to delivery
• Strong technical experience in html, CSS
• Strong technical experience in client server programing
• Good knowledge of software engineering principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Good knowledge of multi-threading & tasks
• Web UI
• Database development
• REST/Web Services
• Distributed systems
