As Accounting Associate of AMD you will be working on the day to day accounting needs of our customers, vendors and the processes we follow to record all accounting related transactions.

As Accounting Associate of AMD you will be working on the day to day accounting needs of our customers, vendors and the processes we follow to record all accounting related transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and invoicing the daily sheets for pick-ups and deliveries
- Preparing bank deposits
- Processing both vendor and customer return material authorizations
- Scanning of all paperwork (daily sheets, purchase orders, credit memos, etc)
- Calling customers to collect payment (pre-paid customers) and late balances on accounts
- Entering credit card receipts
- Entering expenses and purchase order invoices, need to match cost to receivers (3- way matching)
- Helping with inventory, entering counts into our ERP system (once a year)
- Provide support to customers when they have issues reconciling the balances on their accounts
- Provide support to our branches to release customer accounts from auto generated account holds
- Bilingual English – Spanish
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Very good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures in a timely manner
- Proficient data entry skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Familiarity with Netsuite ERP
- College degree preferred not mandatory
