Job Description:
Collaborate across multiple teams to design, architect, configure, build, and operate an Arista Data Center Spine-Leaf environment to support multiple applications, services, systems, and devices for production level business. Integrate and fuse existing Cisco 3 tier architecture to be able to function within the Arista 2 Tier (Spine-Leaf) environment. Design, build, and document templates within the Arista Cloud Vision and Cloud test environments to operate new Arista Data Center
Qualifications:

  • Senior Arista Network Architect Position (with large Spine-Leaf Architecture Experience)
  • MUST be an Arista SME with very good large scope knowledge and experience in multiple Arista deployments.
  • MUST have experience working in large scale spine/leaf environments
  • MUST have recent and up to date Arista infrastructure knowledge (CloudVision and other specific Arista GUI tools).
  • MUST have experience in CloudVision
  • Very Desirable: Hold Arista certifications
  • Be able to take an Arista deployment project from 0 to 100% with little to no technical supervision.
  • Be familiar and comfortable with performing knowledge transfer to engineers coming from the traditional networking side of things (classic routing and switching).
  • Be able to translate project requirements into technical execution items and bridge plain English requests to technical tasks
  • BS/CS/CE technical degree
  • Minimum of 7-years networking experience
  • Possess in-depth experience in routing and switching including the architecture, design and deployment of enterprise data center and/or campus-based networks.
  • Experience with routing and switching including L2/L3 protocols
  • Recent Experience in Leaf-Spine architecture design
  • Understanding of Arista product solutions such as Cloud Grade Routing and Cloud Vision platform

Responsibilities:

  • Provide systems engineering support to the client's enterprise and commercial customers
  • Partner with multiple organizations to understand pain points and conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews in addition to conducting Arista product networking solutions, Cloud Grade Routing and Cloud Vision (Network Automation) platform
  • Architect, design, and propose Arista Data Center & Campus network solutions using spine-leaf architectures (VxLAN, EVPN) and network overlays
  • Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, Data Center and/or Campus network designs, and network deployments using new products and features
  • Put together design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support.
  • Experience migrating to Arista network is very valuable.

Please Note: While nice, having Cisco experience and certifications is NOT an important qualifier for this role. Instead - In depth Arista experience and certifications is important. Experience building and migrating to large spine/leaf Arista environments is valued.
