Job Description

As a UX Researcher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience by conducting in-depth research and providing actionable insights. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure our products meet the needs and expectations of our users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct User Research: Plan, design, and execute various research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies to gather qualitative and quantitative data about user needs, behaviors, and attitudes.
  • Analyze Data: Synthesize research findings to identify patterns, trends, and key insights. Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights into the product development process. Provide recommendations for design improvements based on user feedback.
  • Develop Research Plans: Define research objectives and scope for projects. Create research plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain User Empathy: Advocate for the user’s perspective throughout the design and development process, ensuring that user needs and experiences are prioritized.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, research methodologies, and emerging technologies to continually enhance your research practices and contribute to best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Experience in UX research or a related field, with a proven track record of conducting and analyzing user research.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with research tools such as UsabilityHub, Optimal Workshop, or similar platforms.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing past research projects, methodologies used, and impact on design decisions.
