Powder is a year-round resort and real estate development project nestled throughout 10,000 acres in the Wasatch Mountains of Northern Utah. Recently acquired by Reed Hastings, the Founder and Executive Chairman at Netflix, our purpose is to spark wonder by creating a unique place that fuses mountain recreation, art, and meaningful connection. We’re looking for big-hearted champions to join the team.

We are seeking a Growth Marketing Manager who is passionate about demand generation, customer engagement, creative, acquisition, analytics, ecommerce and driving measurable results through growth initiatives. Reporting to Powder’s Senior Marketing Director, this role will lead all growth and acquisition efforts for the ski resort, while also supporting the overall vision for the Powder parent brand, including real estate and the emerging art program.

Responsibilities

  • Growth & Acquisition Strategy: Craft and implement data-driven holistic digital strategies to support overall business goals. Develop the strategic plan, use analytics to inform decisions, and drive execution to optimize marketing budget against company goals.
  • Campaign Development: Design, implement, and manage high-converting digital campaigns across various channels (ecommerce, email, social, display, programmatic, etc.) to attract, retain and re-engage customers including automation and drip campaigns.
  • CRM Management: Intermediate to expert experience with Hubspot or CRM contact management in building audience segmentation, funnels, campaigns, and asset integrations.
  • Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of campaigns, using insights to optimize future efforts and improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • A/B Testing: Develop and conduct A/B tests to determine the most effective strategies, messaging, formats, and creative elements.
  • Innovative Technology Integration: Embrace technologies to enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Agency Management Support: Serve as the key management and execution touch point for digital agencies, holding them to high standards and collaboratively partnering with them to strategize and execute against company KPIs.

Core Goals

  • Season Pass Growth: Grow season pass revenue and leverage data analytics to better drive engagement and growth.
  • Reach & Engage New Audiences: Work to increase visibility among target new audiences for the mountain resort, real estate and art, to meet business objectives.
  • Increase Ancillary Revenue: Grow ancillary revenue for various departments across the business through strategic conversion campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience, ski resort experience a plus but not required
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, experience working with Sales and driving leads to sales programs, customer lifecycle management, and A/B Testing and lift measurement.
  • Experience using CDP/CRM automation platforms (HubSpot, Segment, Klayvio, ZenDesk, Acoustic, etc.)
  • Exceptional project management skills and capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis communication with composure
  • Collaborative work style - supporting teams and organizational changes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to move fast, be bold, and thrive in a dynamic environment ?
