The Business Development Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Partnerships Business Development team as we prospect, develop and close on key partnerships while building a bench for future potential relationships. This role is a critical one as this person will be our Salesforce expert, ensuring that all leads are properly registered and updated in the system while helping pull profile data and next steps on an ongoing basis. This person will also support as we host and entertain clients throughout the year, ensuring that every time they have a touchpoint with TMRW Sports or TGL it is of the highest quality and they have the best experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the TGL Business Development and Client Services team to maintain our Partnerships CRM (Salesforce) and assist with analysis and strategy through data and storytelling
  • Produce reporting and develop insights to enable data-driven decisions like efficient selling, inventory management and other initiatives
  • Carry out ad-hoc analytics projects from inception to completion, with a focus on automation, clarity and actionable insight
  • Create and manage dashboards to inform sales pipeline, key categories and areas of opportunity
  • Contribute to the tracking of KPIs such as retention, performance and ranking and contract fulfillment

Requirements

  • BA or other equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience working within a competitive sales environment
  • Experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Preferred experience working in an organization with a full sales team responsible for both 18-month lead times as well as 2-3 month deal closing cycles
  • Experience setting up private client events including location scouting, menu selection, gifting and budget management
  • Superior organizational, communication and relationship-building skills

Location

This role is based at our headquarters in Winter Park, FL. We offer a hybrid working environment, requiring in office presence at least three days a week. Limited travel may be required (20%) to execute events or for team meetings.
