Responsibilities
- Enter and update data accurately into company databases and systems.
- Review data for errors or inconsistencies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Compile, verify, and sort information to prepare source data for entry.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and follow data protection protocols.
- Retrieve and organize documents for reports or projects as requested by management.
- Assist in generating reports, summaries, and presentations based on entered data.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent data loss.
- Maintain and update paper and electronic filing systems as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and resolve discrepancies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum of 40 WPM).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Familiarity with data management software or CRM systems is an advantage.
