VP of IT, SAP

Job Description

We have been retained by a company headquartered in Cleveland to identify a VP of IT, SAP. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the SAP strategy in alignment with the organization’s overall IT and business objectives.
• Lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of SAP systems across all business units.
• Oversee a team of SAP professionals, including project managers, developers, and consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging SAP to drive business growth and efficiency.
• Manage SAP projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new module implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of SAP systems, implementing best practices for system maintenance and support.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAP functionality and user experience.
• Establish and manage relationships with external SAP vendors and partners to ensure access to the latest technologies and resources.
• Provide strategic direction for SAP-related training and development programs to build internal capabilities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on SAP systems.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP implementations and integrations in a complex, multi-site environment.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules, including ERP, CRM, SCM, and HCM.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse IT team.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with C-level executives.
