About You

We are seeking an experienced Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Director to support the development and execution of investor relations and corporate communications strategies. You are a high performing, purpose-driven individual with strong strategic thinking abilities and thrive in a dynamic environment. You have demonstrated ability to manage complex work-streams in a cross-functional team environment. You should have at least seven (7) years of experience working in life sciences in this capacity.

You will be involved in assisting with investor interactions and reporting against our plans, managing media relations, and crafting communication materials.

You will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The complexity of the work will require you to easily collaborate, seek information, and partner with other members of the C suite (i.e., Chief People Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Legal Officer) in addition to other members of the executive leadership team.

Your responsibilities include

Investor Relations Support

  • Build and establish a world class investor relations and corporate communications function
  • Assist in preparing investor presentations, earnings reports and other related materials
  • Coordinate investor meetings, calls, and events
  • Monitor investor feedback and market trends
  • Establish and cultivate company relationships with sell-side analysts and other external stakeholders
  • Anticipate investor questions and work with senior leaders to prepare for investor meetings

Reporting and Analysis

  • Track communication and investor relations metrics
  • Analyze market, and competition supporting corporate decision making
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management

Communications Management



  • Work collaboratively with the R&D and executive teams to develop accurate and timely communications of key company updates and program readouts
  • Support company in developing an overall communications plan
  • Draft press releases, and internal communications
  • Support media relations efforts, including handling inquiries and pitching stories
  • Manage content for company websites and social media platforms
  • Help develop and disseminate internal updates

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required - in a life sciences discipline a plus; MBA preferred
  • 5-7+ years experience in biopharma or consulting setting, preferably leading complex programs and initiatives or relevant experience
  • Ability to present and respond to questions about complex scientific and clinical data
  • Experience in competitive intelligence preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & highly collaborative
  • Strong project management skills. Comfortable managing multiple and varied projects at one time, and prioritizing accordingly based on urgent issues
  • Ability to cultivate strong internal & external network
  • Effective problem-solving skills

Preferred: Biotech/Pharma experience
