Job Description

The Entry Level Events Assistant at CORE X PLUG supports the planning and execution of corporate events, meetings, and promotional activities. This role involves assisting in all stages of event coordination, from concept development to post-event evaluation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay Range

$1100 - $1350 weekly

Responsibilities Include

  • Assist in planning and organizing company events, including meetings, conferences, and promotional activities
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure smooth event logistics
  • Help manage event timelines, budgets, and schedules
  • Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials and managing event-related communications
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly arranged
  • Communicate with event attendees, providing information and handling inquiries
  • Track event registrations, RSVP lists, and attendee feedback
  • Assist in post-event evaluations and reporting on event success
  • Work with the events team to brainstorm new ideas for future events
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining event records
  • Help coordinate event travel arrangements for team members, speakers, or guests

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not required
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and vendors
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed, during events
