SQL Database Administrator

Job Title: SQL Developer/DBA (Contract to Hire, Onsite)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer/Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team in an onsite role. Responsibilities:

• Manages on-premises and cloud databases built with SQL Server and Azure SQL services.
• Implements and manages the operational aspects of cloud-native and on-premise data platform solutions built on SQL Server and Azure SQL services.
• Data systems architecture and modeling, designing, and development.
• Builds databases and validates their stability and efficiency.
• Creates and maintains views, functions, stored procedures, scripts, and triggers.
• Writes optimized SQL queries for integration of various business applications.
• Designs database tables and dictionaries.
• Maintains data quality, database backups, and oversees database security.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years of development experience using Azure SQL DB, SQL Server
• 1+ years of experience supporting MySQL / MariaDB
• 4+ years of database architecture and/or dimensional data modeling
• 1+ years of experience in operational SQL DB support

• 4+ years of experience in design and development of data systems (SQL Server based on Cloud/on premise and Analytics)
• 2+ years experience in building and supporting transactional systems and analytics systems (including data modeling)
• 1+ years assisting in Master Data Management efforts, including metadata management
• Must not require sponsorship now or in the future

Estimated Min Rate: $42.00 to Estimated Max Rate: $60.00
