Job Title: Business Systems Analyst with Mainframe Apps

Job type: C2C or W2, through 6/30/2025 with extensions possible

Location: Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting the role. Position is fully remote within the State of WI.

Basic Functions:

Our client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with 10+ years of experience. The projects will be focused on Mainframe applications.

Top Skills (3) & Years of Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience with business systems analysis
  • 10+ years of documenting complex business and software systems
  • Very strong communication skills with both technical and business teams

Nice to Have (Strongly Preferred):

  • Familiarity with CE Access tools that allow insight into CA-GEN objects for impact analysis, identifying integrations and data sets utilized by mainframe-based application systems.
  • CICS
  • Tech Writing, with an emphasis on communicating between the business and technical needs of a cross functional project team.
  • Ability to understand, update and create process diagrams in Visio.

Additionally, preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate experience in one or more of the following:

  • CE Access
  • Creating and maintaining architecture diagrams.
  • Mainframe development experience utilizing CA-GEN
  • Mainframe development experience in Cobol
  • Mainframe batch processing using JCL, TSO, ISPF
  • Web service development experience SOAP and/or REST
