This role will be partnering with Product Management and other stakeholders to define and prioritize the Team Backlog so that the solution effectively addresses program priorities while maintaining technical integrity. The Product Owner is a strong communicator who enjoys working in a dynamic environment to deliver strategic solutions and drive the future of Southwest.

Additional Details:
- This role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. Please note, while this is a remote position, there is a limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to regularly perform their work. Responsibilities
- Prepare backlog for PI Planning and decide which work items become part of the team backlog
- Serve as the customer proxy
- Build, refine, prioritize, and maintain the team backlog
- Partner in Scrum ceremonies such as iteration planning, iteration reviews, and demos
- Help create user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Review and accept user stories as complete
- Contribute to vision and program Backlog
- Meet with stakeholders to ensure features and subsequent stories meet expectations
- Drive iteration content by prioritizing user stories
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to make decisions with minimal guidance and oversight
- Ability to be organized with strong attention to detail and capable of coordinating multiple viewpoints into a single message
- Ability to understand technical issues
- Skilled in analytics and problem solving with a high attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate risks, issues and opportunities, and escalate them accordingly
- Skilled in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation
- Ability to be comfortable and articulate in challenging change management scenarios, knowing when to insert self and when to fade back
- Solid knowledge in Agile including the value and principles, and how they are applied in enterprise environments
- Ability to define data validations, boundary business cases as per business rules and data dependencies for an identified ETL process (Glue or any similar AWS product).
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience - BS, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or the equivalent formal training
Experience
- Required: Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
- Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
- Business analysis, project management or software development delivering enterprise products and solutions
- Preferred: Cloud tool experience in using from console and basic cloud concepts (AWS Glue, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
- Preferred: Experience is working with multiple interfaces in terms of teams ( eg : MTX, SCM, PTC, Raptor Dev), integration points (File systems, Cloud touchpoints)
- Preferred: Experience defining workflows in AWS glue/ETL cloud system
- Preferred: Experience in data analysis; ability to analyze different meaningful data sets, relationships, and mapping to define requirements for implementation
- Preferred: Experience in discussing the business requirement of existing business flows of ETL and transform them into requirements to implement in different ETL platform . Ex : Go from Teradata Alteryx workflows to Redshift Glue base workflows. Be able to do the gap analysis for business requirements
- Preferred: Experience in building stories/epics/features for a ETL business ask

Pay & Benefits
- Competitive market salary from $97,750 per year to $108,600 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For elidable leadership individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company
