Description

We are looking for a Programmer/Analyst: II (Intermediate) to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Programmer/Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting digital online applications, participating in troubleshooting, providing technical support, and managing customer incidents. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Support digital online applications that are custom-built banking solutions
Participate with other developers in troubleshooting and identifying problems
Provide technical support on various technical matters
Manage customer impacting incidents, including assessing business impact, technical resolution engagement, and communications
Research and fulfill on-demand requests by multiple business areas for all digital applications
Provide incident and problem management support for all digital applications
Work with digital development teams to document production issues and assist with validating and closing out any defects
Update and manage runbooks and maintenance reference manuals on the support wiki site
Provide level 1 & level 2 support for application and platform issues
Respond to user requests and queries, escalating incidents to the appropriate interfacing support team or external teams as needed
Update ticket resolution status and details in the ticket management systems.

Requirements

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java
Experience with cloud technologies
Familiarity with Agile methodology and frameworks
Competence in CSS and defect management
Strong customer service and communication skills
Compliance and research abilities
Ability to review and troubleshoot systems
Knowledge of workstation support and production
Experience working with vendors and managing websites
Understanding of digital and metric reporting
Ability to create and execute queries
Familiarity with best practices in programming and analysis
Experience with monitoring tools
Proficiency with 'About Time' software or similar time management tools
Demonstrable closing skills in a technical environment
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
