This position has multiple responsibilities to support the Operations Groups in APC (Air Pollution Control), PC (Process Controls), PS (Process Systems) and Aftermarket. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

The Director of Procurement manages the purchasing function for all LDX Solutions, including vendor and supplier relationships. Plan and implement strategic procurement programs, while improving supplier quality and reliability. Evaluate and recommend corrective actions for purchasing and materials management standards and procedures. This individual will lead purchasing roles for the development of global sourcing contracts and recognize needs and activate purchases for inventory. He or she will work in tandem with project teams to obtain design and project objectives. Utilize a commodity management approach which results in supply base rationalization and leveraging of procurement volume for cost reductions. They will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with key supplier’s executive members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the RFQ process, contracts, cost, and supply negotiations, and awarding of business.
  • Manage and oversee all Procurement Staff for all Business Units throughout the company.
  • Manage out-bound logistics services and third-party logistics providers to expand the range of commodities needed to support international operations.
  • Develop standards and implement procedures for materials planning, product acquisition, inventory control, material distribution and logistics management.
  • Monitor KPI indicators such as inventory turns, supplier on time delivery, inventory cycle count accuracy, and PPV.
  • Develop RFP analysis, negotiation strategy, contract drafting, and agreement execution plans on all contracts.
  • Establishes Quarterly PPV Goals for all business units by Project.
  • Design and implement formal RFP process and develop infrastructure necessary to streamline inventory processes and reduce waste.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for steel and other major commodities.
  • Implement procurement strategies for sourcing outside fabrications and machine commodities through supplier rationalization, selection, and qualification for new and existing suppliers.

Financial

  • Support management reporting of financials at EOM
  • Develop intermediate reporting tools to provide insight on mid-month performance and forecasting.
  • Support operations, manufacturing and installation on project progress tracking, cost tracking, estimates to complete and forecasting for outside fabricators and material suppliers.
  • Works with BU Project accounting to ensure that there are no gaps in project cost tracking.
  • Monitors changes in project schedules that affect invoicing and cash flow projections.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in purchasing
  • Must have excellent presentation, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to travel to Oregon and Washington 30%
  • Industry knowledge preferred

Travel Requirement - This role is based in Kennesaw but will require frequent travel to Eugene OR. and Redmond WA.
