  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  5. Click JavaScript.

JOB TITLE: Help Desk IT Technician

AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:

  • Reports directly to Director of Operational Technology

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Triage Portal Tickets
  • Suggest enhancements to Ticket System for a better User Experience
  • Administer correspondence using chat, email, phone calls & video conferencing regarding tickets
  • Assist users with any IT ticket related incidents, when requested
  • Provide direct line of escalation for critical issues to Technician staff
  • Install, inspect, test, certify and terminate any cabling
  • Keep current and adequate logs of assets and inventories
  • Perform troubleshooting and execute needed repairs
  • Execute different maintenance activities when needed
  • Install and configure hardware equipment and software programs
  • Work with other IT professionals to ensure upholding IT standards
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned
  • Above duties & responsibilities are also extended to our satellite offices/dispensaries which require travel

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field preferred
  • 3 or more years of IT/related tech work experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with team player mentality, positive can-do attitude, reliable, organized and professional

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to be on call and work after normal business hours
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Pass all required background checks
  • Must remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Ability to use a computer for extended periods
  • Must be able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment
  • Frequently moves up to 30+ pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance)
  • This job function may include being in a stationary position, or moving for extended periods of time
