We are providing an opportunity for a Java Developer in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States, to join our team. This role involves working with financial systems, specifically focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of Java scripts for our financial reporting system. Responsibilities:
Development, improvement, and maintenance of the existing Java Reporting script in our financial system.
Translating financial reporting requirements into system solutions.
Collaborating with the financial team to ensure the reporting system meets their needs.
Identifying and addressing any system issues.
Conducting system testing and managing all necessary system upgrades.
Documenting all programming tasks and procedures for future reference.
Debugging and troubleshooting occasional errors that may occur.
Developing and implementing new features and functionalities in accordance to business needs.
Ensuring the system delivers accurate and efficient financial reports.
Using skills in Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Bug Tracking, Client Side Scripting, Cross-Platform, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Ajax, API Development, CSS to achieve all the above responsibilities.
Requirements
Proficiency in Java for backend development
Experience with Atlassian Jira for project management
Familiarity with bug tracking to ensure software functionality
Knowledge of client side scripting to enhance user interactions
Understanding of cross-platform development for wider application compatibility
Experience with AB Testing to optimize application performance
Knowledge of Agile Scrum for project management
Proficiency in Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications
Experience with API development to improve software integration
