Essential Job Functions

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Technology Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR technology landscape and familiarity managing SaaS based applications. This role will be instrumental in driving solution selection, implementation, configuration, and on-going support of our global HR solutions while ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and deliver maximum value to the organization. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency supporting HR systems and functional understanding of HR Business Processes to deliver innovative solutions to meet the business needs of our organization. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting application/system issues, performing application maintenance and upgrade processes, coordinating the installs, developing, and maintaining integrations and documentation, and providing overall general support of HR applications and data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of third-party cloud solutions and/or features based on the business needs.
  • Requirements gathering, design, develop, test and implement high-quality, user-friendly solutions to meet the Firm's goals and strategic objectives.
  • Responsible for migration of employee data and other relevant information from legacy systems into new HR Technology systems.
  • Design, develop and implement well-structured RESTful APIs to enable seamless integrations.
  • Coordinate and manage HR technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the desired quality standards.
  • Provide Level 3 operational or systematic support and maintenance for the Firm's HR applications, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR Processes using technology and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with business users in designing and implementing analytics to help them interpret their data to make informed business decisions.
  • Adhere to the Firm's Security and Governance requirements across all administered applications.
  • Adhere to the Firm's IT Service Delivery standards and Change Control processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
  • 10+ years' experience of application support/configuration in HR Technology solutions such as Learning Management, CLE management, Recruiting and development systems.
  • 2+ years with Cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
  • The ideal candidate must have good judgment, problem-solving, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build positive working relationships. In addition, candidates must be self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing demands.
  • Experience with SQL, including stored procedures, functions and triggers is required.
  • Experience with programming languages is required (Ex: Java, .Net, Python, Shell Scripts).
  • In-depth knowledge of SSO standards and protocols (e.g. SAML, OAuth) and RESTful API design patterns.
  • Proactive in escalating issues and pulling in support from other technical experts as required.
  • Ability to train and guide junior software developers/analysts.
  • Embrace a nimble mindset and adapt quickly to changing requirements and goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with little direction/supervision.

Preferred:

  • Developing with Intapp Integration Builder
  • High-level understanding of Active Directory Domain Services
  • Experience with large scale ERP systems like PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM, Workday
  • Developing integrations with MuleSoft

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This job currently hybrid, with a mixture of in office and remote work. A high-speed internet connection is required to connect to our systems.
