  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in partnership with a financial services company is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Product Engineering. As the VP, Strategic Product Engineering, you will be responsible for leading in house development and support of all internally developed applications in a specific area as well as support the migration to Cloud based computing. Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Oversee development, maintenance, and support, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Collaboration: Foster teamwork and effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Team Development: Enhance team skills through training plans, development targets, and performance feedback.
  • Quality and Productivity: Monitor metrics, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and productivity.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or other related field
  • 5- 7 years related IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing and testing of software systems in Java, Spring, J2EE App servers on Red Hat Linux, UNIX or AIX
  • Experience managing agile development projects and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Experience with complex, mission critical system design and evaluating and proposing alternative software designs
  • Knowledgeable in Software Reliability Engineering, test automation and CI/CD processes and tools such as GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar Cube, Fortify, etc.
