JOB TITLE: Certified Epic Cadence System Analyst

CONTRACT DURATION: 77 weeks - Contract through April 2026

SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

LOCATION: 100% remote

ONBOARDING TIME: Expect 3-5 weeks from offer acceptance to start date.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Under general supervision, determines, assesses, and details the business functions and operating characteristics of the departments/divisions that utilize the medical center s automated data facilities, databases and data network or that support and enhance health system practice, administrative and management needs and patient outcomes.
• Plan, develop and prepare detailed specifications of applications systems to meet the requirements, missions and goals of the medical center.
• Perform system implementation, testing, evaluation and follow-through.
• Determine, diagnose, isolate and resolve applications resource and utilization problems and errors; develop fault diagnosis, isolation and resolution techniques that ensure optimal performance is constantly maintained.
• Train technical, support and customer personnel in the use and development of applications programs; develop training programs and procedures.
• The duties of this position are performed under the general review and supervision of more experienced health system applications staff and management. A majority of assignments will be completed independently, subject to periodic review and approval of senior health system applications staff and managers.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education and Certifications:

• A college degree, preferably in Computer Science, Healthcare, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Allied Health

Experience:

• Experience in building out complicated decision trees.
• 2-4 years of experience in information technology (preferably experience in health system operations) and/or a health system area, preferably a combination of both health system and IT technology -or- experience with Epic Systems
• Knowledge of systems implementation which may include analysis, specification design, and implementation
• Experience interacting with customers to gather and understand their business requirements
• Knowledge and experience with hospital systems and business practices
• Knowledge of healthcare technology trends

• Copy of diploma for highest level of completed education.
• Two manager/supervisor references who you have worked with in the last two years.
• Upcoming requested time off for the duration of the contract.

• Documentation of Covid vaccination or medical/religious exemption.
