ODI Developer (Oracle Data Integrator)- Newport Beach CA/Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Integration Design: Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
• Mapping and Transformation: Create mappings and transformations using ODI tools to ensure data is correctly formatted and integrated.
• Repository Management: Manage ODI repositories, including the development, staging, and production environments.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes for performance, including tuning mappings, using parallel processing, and managing system resources.
• Error Handling: Implement error handling and logging mechanisms to troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.
• Documentation: Document ETL processes, data flows, and design specifications for future reference and compliance.

• Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.

• Testing and Validation:Conduct unit and system testing to validate data integrity and ensure that integrations meet specified requirements.
• Deployment: Manage the deployment of ODI components and configurations across different environments.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor ETL jobs and maintain the health of the data integration system, making adjustments as necessary.
• Version Control: Utilize version control tools to manage changes to ODI projects and promote best practices in development.
• Training and Support: Provide support and training to end-users and team members on ODI tools and best practices.
