Pay Range: $17 - $19/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Representative, you'll provide timely, efficient service for an assigned product and/or service center internal and external customer.
  • You will ensure that we are providing extraordinary care to our customers through workflow management and meeting all required service level agreements.
  • Processes business requests according to government regulations, contract provisions and internal procedures and controls.
  • Adheres to high standards of professional conduct consistent with the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Provides outstanding quality customer service by demonstrating and understanding customer needs and emphasizing timely responses.
  • Maintains current knowledge of contract and product provisions, administration of Client s products, processing systems and related federal and state regulations.
  • Integrates lean methodology into daily interactions through problem-solving meetings and team huddles.
  • Consults and interprets contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business for policyholders, agents/brokers and other operating units.
  • Includes understanding topics that require insurance or securities license and registration and understands when and how to route those inquiries to the properly registered representative.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • High school studies.
  • Undergraduate studies desirable. Participation in technical coursework such as LOMA, CLU, ChFC desirable.
  • Looking for bilingual candidates; customer service representatives for Life New Business phone team.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish.
  • Must have strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with agents.
  • Things to consider:
  • First 8 weeks (including training) will be in-office full time, no exceptions
  • Transition to Hybrid schedule will start after first 8 weeks.
  • Typically, 2 months of a 2/3 schedule (WFO/WFH).
  • Fully transitioned to 1/4 schedule based on performance
  • Hours during training = 9:00AM to 4:30PM
  • Hours after training = anytime between 11:00AM to 8:00PM
  • Typically consider conversion, based on performance, after 9-12 months in the role
  • The candidate needs to be available to work between the hours of 11:30 to 8:00 pm Monday thru Thursday and Friday 9:30 to 6:00 pm. No weekends.
