  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  5. Click JavaScript.

DataStaff, Inc. is in need of a Power BI Dashboard Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Durham, NC
*This position is hybrid
*Some local travel may be required
Responsibilities:

  • Provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design, and programming for FNS dashboards and maintenance operations using ORACLE, PL\SQL, Synapse and Power BI programming technologies.
  • Work with the FNS team to develop and maintain the dashboard and reporting code for some of the enhancements based on the backlog of change requests from the business and help fix some of the defects from the backlog as well.
  • Help develop several FNS dashboards like WIC cross enrollment dashboards, SEBT dashboard and maintain the existing FNS dashboards and develop ETLs and Synapse pipeline along with Power BI code for the same.
  • Help train other program teams to develop synapse and Power BI code.

Required Skills:

  • 5 Years - Experience with developing dashboards using Power BI and Azure Synapse
  • 5 Years - Experience in using Oracle, Oracle Utilities, ETL tools
  • 5 Years - Experience with PL/SQL scripting and Relational Database modeling.
  • 5 Years - Experience with structured system development methodologies
  • 5 Years - Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options.
  • 5 Years - Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.

Desired Skills:

  • 5 Years - Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT
  • 2 Years - Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development
  • 2 Years - Data Warehouse experience
  • 2 Years - Familiarity with Amazon RedShift & Tableau
  • 2 Years - Experience with Dell Boomi
