Join our growing and innovative company as an IT Security Analyst on our Network Infrastructure Services (NIS) team! In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining a secure and up-to-date IT environment while supporting the NIS team as needed. We're looking for someone with experience in network and endpoint security who is ready to make an impact. You'll report directly to the IT Network and Security Manager and collaborate in a dynamic atmosphere that values creativity and forward-thinking solutions.
Requirements:

• 3-4+ years Info Security Analyst experience
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and network protocols.
• Knowledge of network communication, network management and network security.
• Knowledge of endpoint security.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac operating systems.
• Knowledge of Linux operating system a plus.
• Familiarity with Email security a plus.
• Familiarity with network vulnerability scanning tools a plus.
• Familiarity with firewalls a plus.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A BS/BA in Computer Science or information technology discipline or relevant experience
• Comp TIA Security+, Comp TIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Comp TIA Pen Test+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), CISA or CISSP certifications desired but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and mitigate security detections and incidents.
• Monitor system and security logs on all network/security platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve/escalate security issues and service desk tickets.
• Maintain, optimize and troubleshoot email systems and proxies.
• Investigate phishing email reports.
• Maintain, optimize and troubleshoot identity management services.
• Conduct systematic vulnerability scanning of all network devices.
• Assess, prioritize and remediate system vulnerabilities on all devices and operating systems.
• Monitor learning management system training campaigns.
• Gather metrics and create security status reports for upper management.
