Job Title: Sr. Network Security/Firewall Engineer

Location: Las Vegas, NV(Onsite Day1)

Full Time

Salary : $90k-$110k/annum

Responsibilities:

The Network Security/Firewall engineer will be responsible for the design, administration, and management of Palo Alto and FortiGate Firewalls using Centralized Panorama and FortiManger.

Will be tasked with the following

1. Firewall Rules clean up, Firewall Optimization(NATs, Policies and Routing).
2. Identify gaps in network infrastructure security, working with internal teams on timely remediation and recommending future improvements.
3. Assist in the design and development of network implementations.
4. Responsible for maintaining a resilient and secure firewall infrastructure, utilizing Palo Alto and Fortinet hardware.
5. Create and conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience working with Palo Alto Networks products and FortiGate s.

Strong understanding of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies.

Hands on experience with firewall administration, VPN technologies, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing and Switching protocols etc.).

Familiarity with FIREMON environments is a plus.

Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
