Summary:
As an Active Directory Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Active Directory environment for our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, efficiency, and scalability of our directory services while leading initiatives to enhance our identity management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Active Directory solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Conduct assessments of current AD architecture and propose improvements.
  • Manage and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and organizational units (OUs).
  • Develop and enforce policies for identity and access management.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AD-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Lead migration projects, including upgrades and transitions to cloud-based directory services.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on best practices for AD management.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to architecture, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in identity management and directory services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Active Directory architecture and management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and AD features.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and cloud identity solutions.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator) are a plus.
