You will be working in our Austin, TX location responsible for documenting and developing improvements to business and system processes to deliver value to internal and external customers.

This is a contract-to-hire role (6 months contract to hire)

What you will do:

  • Communicate with coworkers and others in a timely, effective, and professional manner
  • Communicate key insights and findings to stakeholders
  • Define specifications and document business requirements
  • Develop user stories and work closely with software engineers throughout development and testing
  • Define, develop, and maintain business process documentation
  • Help improve business processes through research and recommendations
  • Assist with the design, documentation, and maintenance of system processes
  • Develop relationships with management and users, working with them to optimize and enhance systems
  • Assist with reviewing and testing system functionality

Who you are:

  • Experienced: 5-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst. You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. You have experience in business and system analysis, developing requirements and testing, analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions, and working in an Agile environment. You know about generating process documentation.
  • Technical competencies: You have excellent technical writing skills. You are proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills: You can multi-task and prioritize projects/assignments. You have excellent attention to detail and exhibit a reasonable sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You communicate in both a professional and friendly manner with coworkers and others.
  • Adaptable: You are eager to use new tools and learn new processes and technologies. You can adapt to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. You have effective problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise.
  • Coachable: You can retain and implement instruction and training. You are open to learning and navigating our current processes and systems. You are not afraid to ask questions.
  • Positive attitude: You demonstrate a positive attitude. You are courteous, especially when navigating through difficult conversations, problems, or complaints that may arise.
  • Team player: You can work in both a team and an independent setting. You tend to foster support and dependability towards your peers while also getting your tasks done within specific time constraints.
  • Reliable: You can work during our regular business hours at your assigned location. You are a punctual individual and able to follow an assigned work schedule. You can maintain client confidentiality at all times.
