We are seeking a highly experienced Senior USAID Program Manager to join our team and support our efforts to expand our work in Sub-Saharan Africa

Job Description

As a Senior USAID Program Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our team in pursuing USAID-funded projects that enhance trade and finance across Sub-Saharan Africa. You will work closely with government officials, private sector stakeholders, and local communities to achieve project objectives and contribute to the economic development of the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive project strategy that aligns with USAID's goals and objectives.
• Oversee project activities and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with USAID officials, government counterparts, and private sector stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate project progress and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working on USAID-funded projects in Sub-Saharan Africa or other developing countries.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex development programs.
• Deep understanding of the economic landscape and development challenges in emerging economies.
• Strong knowledge of trade, finance, and private sector development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  
  

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a USAID Country Director or Program Manager is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to secure USAID contracts and proposals.
