Our mission is to protect life and property through emergency response services. Our firefighters deliver this mission daily through control and suppression of hostile fires, pre-hospital EMS, Technical Rescue response and mitigation of hazardous material incidents. We maintain the highest standard of response and customer service to our communities.
Fire District 3 is a growing and evolving organization serving diverse communities. We are looking for professionally motivated people to join a highly trained staff of career firefighters. The District is home to the regional training grounds to develop and maintain the highest level of performance with our training tower, SIM house, live burn containers, confined space and rope rescue facilities and extrication pit.
We offer opportunities to join our Technical Rescue Team (High/Low Angle Rope, Swift Water, Extrication), participate in Acting in Capacity (AIC) development and promotional readiness, and assist and lead special projects and assignments.

- FD3 Experienced: $6,751-$7,443

- Jackson County Fire District 5 - accepting qualified applications to establish a 2024-2025 Firefighter Register.
- Jackson County Fire District 3 - accepting qualified applications for vacant positions. District 3 will host a Fire Academy in March 2025.
