Under limited supervision responsible for creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Implements technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains. Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and provides countermeasure recommendations. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems.
Special Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in IT information security. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in IT information security in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience. The position requires experience with: Software Development proficiency in Full Stack technologies (Java / J2EE, Javascript programming languages with Springboot and Angular / REACT Framework. Database Management Systems with proficiency in SQL and NOSQL Databases. System administration proficiency in Unix/Linux Operating Systems. Proficient in DevOps and CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Maven/Gradle and Nexus. Cloud Native application development proficiency like Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Proficient in analytical and scripting languages. Proficiency in ETL tools like Abinitio / SQL Loader.
Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Collierville, TN.
*Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.*
