Job Title: Food Safety Specialist
Job Description
We are hiring for a corporate Food Safety Specialist in Chicago, IL. Typical job responsibilities include but are not limited to: working within SAP for ingredients analysis, reviewing ingredients formulas, working with food safety specialists and supporting commercialization projects, completing appropriate verification of records to ensure all food safety information and documentation is maintained per regulatory standards, conducting risk assessments for new ingredients, products, and processes, reviewing policies, procedures, and guidance to support corporate FSQA and compliance programs, supporting and participating in facility annual corporate internal audits to monitor processes, facilities, and food safety programs, and helping with food safety issue investigations and supporting factories in developing corrective actions.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Qualifications
- 2-3 years working in a food manufacturing environment
- BS in sciences
- SQF Practitioner
- HACCP and/or PCQI certifications
