Position Summary:

A leader and innovator, the IT Director plays a pivotal role in providing timely, sophisticated and exceptional service to our members. A liaison between Club departments, they will develop an IT strategy and manage cross-club CRM applications, including implementation, data collection and reporting. This role also manages large-scale projects involving various computer platforms, controls IT expenses, budgets for daily and yearly operations, and oversees changes to the company's system architecture.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify IT needs, purchase software and hardware, and train staff
  • Identify solutions that may advance opportunities, address pain points or further the business strategy.
  • Supervise all technology operations, including network, security, and cloud services, and assess their performance against established objectives
  • Develop and maintain hardware, software, and management systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project and system maintenance
  • Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, proposing strategic solutions and new systems
  • Cultivate relationships with external advisors and vendors
  • Enhance and maintain in-house web applications
  • Integrate and optimize AI tools
  • Manage website, app redevelopment with cross departmental functionality in mind
  • Prepare and administer the departmental budget and forecasting
  • Coordinate the implementation of business processes, data integrity audits and functional training to support use of business systems
  • Direct activities and monitor performance of Information Technology manager in support of computer operations, operating systems, database administration, desktop/help desk support, telecommunications, data networks, and system security
  • Analyze, communicate and implement strategy to drive technology revenue and contribute to the club’s overall business success
  • Verify that resources are utilized to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure timely resolution of reported issues

Deliver excellent customer service throughout the prospective member and member experience and encourage the same from other employees

Qualifications Required:

Excellent project management, communication, interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the technology field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role in an IT setting

Significant experience in all phases of the development lifecycle

Solid working knowledge of current security protocols and threats

Experience in all relevant coding languages (C#, HTML, JavaScript)

Prior experience in the private club industry a plus
