Data Warehouse Analyst

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Data Warehouse Analyst in the Retail industry. The role will be based in Hillside, New Jersey, where the selected candidate will be responsible for various aspects of data management and analysis. This includes handling shipment automation, container calculation, process improvement, and data reporting.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the tracking and movement of goods and automate the shipment processing using relevant software.
Handle the calculation and budgeting of the number of containers needed based on units.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize logistics procedures with an emphasis on automation of manual tasks.
Utilize Excel and SQL queries to build comprehensive reports covering areas such as costs and rates.
Perform data analysis and data consolidation and create detailed reports to assist in decision-making.
Effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure seamless operations.
Learn and train on new reporting tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Utilize skills in Application Coding, Business Logic, Database Object, Informatica, Informatica Power Center, AB Testing, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Data Modeling, Data Quality for the execution of tasks.

Requirements

Proficiency in Application Coding is required for this role
Familiarity with Business Logic is essential
Knowledge and understanding of Database Objects is needed
Expertise in Informatica and Informatica Power Centre is crucial
Experience with AB Testing is desirable
Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) is required
Ability to create and understand Business Requirement Documents
Knowledge of Data Modeling is necessary
Experience in maintaining Data Quality is essential
