We are currently seeking a candidate for the newly created role of Associate Product Manager which will support the Product Managers in developing and executing product-oriented plans that fit the company’s selling tactic, distribution channels, strategy and financial goals. The Associate Product Manager will support and work under the guidance of the Product Manager. This role is the pathway to a future Product Manager role.
This will be a Hybrid role with two days at the office and three days working from home or you can choose to work full-time at the office.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Product Manager’s short- and long-term product plans.
- Product life-cycle process – optimize new product introduction and minimize any financial impact of discontinued product.
- Manage tactical execution details on assigned product categories or product introductions.
- Execute portfolio maintenance activities, including SKU rationalization, pricing analysis, cost management.
- Assist Product Manager in managing the relationship and product lines with existing and new suppliers.
- Work in conjunction with the General Marketing team, to determine placement, product introduction and promotional strategy.
- Provide data analysis on the competitive environment, current product offering, customer needs, sales trends along with specific, and targeted recommendations.
- Gather and prioritize input from sales, marketing, customer support and directly from customers and distribution partners.
- Work through product quality and compliance improvements.
- Coordinate the development product specifications, packaging compliance and technical information for the brand marketing team.
- Act as bridge between different departments (Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Support) to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Respond to questions and concerns from customers and sales and service staff.
- Provides product-related assistance to other areas of the business as needed.
- And other related job tasks as required.
- 1 - 3 years of demonstrated experience in product development in commercial or industrial products.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to understand, work with and relay technical product specifications.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office – particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Works well in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Thirst for knowledge.
