ANINE BING is looking for an Assistant Buyer to join our team in Los Angeles.

The Assistant Buyer will be responsible for supporting the buying and planning teams in executing an omni-channel merchandise plan to deliver business goals.

The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with experience in the fashion industry, eager to thrive in a dynamic work environment. As the Assistant Buyer, you'll partner with Buyers and Planners to manage the assortment across all global channels, including Ecommerce, Retail, and Wholesale, ensuring a cohesive and innovative approach to our inventory strategy.

This role is based out of our Los Angeles HQ and will report to the Senior Buyer.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze weekly performance to ensure optimum inventory positions are maintained on a style level.
  • Assess reorder opportunities and identify slow selling styles through specialized reports.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports
  • Manage daily buying responsibilities including – updating assortment sheets, monitoring ETA’s and updating launch schedules.
  • Work closely with the Production team to monitor purchase orders and communicate relevant updates to cross functional teams.
  • Maintain company-wide assortment calendar; update all cross functional teams on launch and product changes.
  • Own data entry and maintenance like PO entry, PO updates and price updates in NetSuite.
  • Manage merchandise samples for the Buying and Planning Team.

Required Skills

  • 1-2 years’ experience in Merchandising/Buying
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets required for reporting and data management
  • Advanced Excel (Vlookups, Pivots, Index Match)
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, proactive, and a team player
  • Prior experience in fashion industry preferred or retail experience

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $66,500 - 70,000
