Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
- Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain financial data from various sources to support investment evaluations and reporting.
- Investment Research: Conduct market research and perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including industry trends and competitor analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, summarizing financial performance and investment prospects.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and assist in the preparation of periodic reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior analysts, associates, and other team members to support deal execution and portfolio management activities.
- Administrative Support: Provide general support to the finance team, including maintaining documentation, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with external parties.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. Internships or academic projects related to financial analysis or private equity are a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Certifications: CFA Level 1 or progress towards CFA designation is a plus but not required.
