Key Responsibilities:
- Offer guidance and coaching on employee relations issues to all employees and management.
- Identify development needs for teams and managers, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
- Handle and resolve employee relations cases, suggesting next steps as the subject matter expert.
- Balance risks by considering employee, business, and company needs.
- Help design and deliver manager training based on employee relations cases.
- Work closely with HR, Employment Law, Learning & Development, and Talent Management teams to solve issues and support business growth.
- Lead complex employee relations cases that impact the business.
- Uphold high standards of integrity, respect, and professionalism.
- Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members for the Employee Relations team.
Requirements:
- A BS/BA degree (Master’s or JD is a plus) and at least 7 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations or employment law.
- At least 5 years of experience in Employee and Labor Relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and performance management.
- Ability to analyze data and use it to prevent potential employee issues.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience presenting and facilitating training.
- Previous experience in tech or startups is a plus.
- A team player who can collaborate with various stakeholders, including leadership, HR, and legal teams.
- Occasional travel may be required.
