Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer guidance and coaching on employee relations issues to all employees and management.
  • Identify development needs for teams and managers, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Handle and resolve employee relations cases, suggesting next steps as the subject matter expert.
  • Balance risks by considering employee, business, and company needs.
  • Help design and deliver manager training based on employee relations cases.
  • Work closely with HR, Employment Law, Learning & Development, and Talent Management teams to solve issues and support business growth.
  • Lead complex employee relations cases that impact the business.
  • Uphold high standards of integrity, respect, and professionalism.
  • Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members for the Employee Relations team.

Requirements:

  • A BS/BA degree (Master’s or JD is a plus) and at least 7 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations or employment law.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Employee and Labor Relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and performance management.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to prevent potential employee issues.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience presenting and facilitating training.
  • Previous experience in tech or startups is a plus.
  • A team player who can collaborate with various stakeholders, including leadership, HR, and legal teams.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
