DIRECT HIRE Full Stack .Net Developer (Web App Development) job in Winston-Salem, NC
Pay/Salary Range: $115,000k/yr. - $120,000k/yr.
Akkodis is seeking to fill a DIRECT HIRE Full Stack .Net Developer (Web App Development) job in Winston-Salem, NC. The successful candidate will develop software solutions for assigned software projects, product maintenance efforts, and provide 3rd level software support.
Full Stack .Net Developer (Web App Development) job responsibilities include:
Work directly with Product Owners and the Director of Distributed Development to ensure code deliverables are of high quality, completed on time and in accordance with standards.
Develop assigned software projects as determined by the Strategy Committee.
Develop assigned product maintenance releases in accordance with prioritize lists of enhancements and defects.
Assist in the architecture, design and prototyping of application systems
Work with and assist in the management of outsourcing and other technology vendors.
Assist in estimating work effort for projected development initiatives.
Participate in technology strategy and planning initiatives.
Provide 3rd party application support.
Provide testing and implementation support
Provide SME support 7X24
Qualifications Required:
6 years experience as a .NET Developer
Experience with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Professional demeanor and be able to effectively work with other staff within the organization
Qualifications desired:
Expertise with a wide range of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript is ideal.
Experience with the development of web sites, web services, windows services and console applications utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio 2017+
Experience with Microsoft .Net Framework (3.5, 4.6+), ASP.NET MVC and web forms, C# and VB.Net, Telerik Control Suites.
Experience with test driven development or test automation
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with database management Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with HP Fortify for dynamic and static code scans a plus
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Background in OWASP and security standards
Java Development experience a plus
Understanding of server-side rendering, n-tier architecture, Single-page App Model, microservices architecture, and cloud computing (AWS).
Previous payment financial experience is a plus
Complete assigned development tasks on time and with high quality
Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and provide fixes
Contribute to development standards and assist with evaluation of others work
Physical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
