Tax Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a remote Tax Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within a required timeframe
• Evaluate and present alternative actions to minimize tax liability and cost of compliance
• Support tax transformation initiatives to automate tax processes, enhance data analytics and re-imagine how the tax function operates
• Keep up to date with tax legislation, SEC Regulations, and GAAP changes, practice and global developments
• Supervises and develops tax department staff
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• 6+ years of tax experience
• Knowledgeable of the U.S. tax systems, the state tax systems, and tax compliance law
• General knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
