Description: Our client is currently seeking a UX Researcher 4

Project Overview:

Collaborate with generative AI to boost productivity and fuel creativity. The UXR team is made of dedicated and talented UI designers, researchers, writers, content designers, and PgMs passionate about creating the best possible experience for our users. We work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with team members across Assistant, Research, Search, Trust & Safety, and Responsible AI.

Overall Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize and scope research opportunities with xfn partners across product development life cycle. Design and conduct a mix of tactical and strategic research across all stages of the product development lifecycle.
  • Prioritize and drive research that improves user experience and informs the product roadmap. Lead all aspects of the research process, from planning to execution to communication of the results.
  • Clearly communicate research agenda with cross-functional partners, understand and balance business requirements and technical constraints with user needs.
  • Drive change through research. Make research findings convincing and actionable for both research experts and non-experts.

  • Plan UXR studies by working with stakeholders
  • Execute research studies
  • Communicate findings through presentations and reports


Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Statistics, Psychology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in an applied research setting.
  • Track record demonstrating excellent command of research questions within a given domain, and of technical tools for the analysis of data within that field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
  • Strong stakeholder management and peer (e.g., UXD lead and ICs, UXW, Eng, PM) collaboration skills.


Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
  • MS or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an applied research setting.
  • High flexibility and willingness to (re)act rapidly if needed.
  • Research experience in any of the following product categories/industries: voice based digital assistant, mobile devices, GenAI
