About The Role

We are looking for a Studio producer to develop and implement content strategies that are in line with the company's goals and target audience interests. This producer must write , edit, and proofread content to ensure it satisfies quality requirements while also being engaging, educational, and accurate. Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other creatives to create multimedia content including videos, podcasts, live events and interactive media. Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery of contents on various platforms such as websites, social media, and email newsletters. Must have experience with livestream and podcasts.

Team Management

What you’ll do:

As the post-production lead, you are responsible for managing a team of editors, sound designers, visual effects artists, colorists, and other post-production professionals. You will assign tasks, provide guidance and feedback, and ensure effective collaboration among team members.

You will maintain a clean tracker to ensure visibility.

Project Planning And Scheduling

You will develop a comprehensive post-production plan for all our WIP and new work including setting deadlines and milestones for editing, sound design, visual effects, and other post-production tasks. Create schedules and allocate resources accordingly to meet project deadlines. Please ensure all is on the Studio Operations tracker.

Editor Scheduling and Assignments: Manage the scheduling and assignments of editors based on company priorities. Assess the workload, allocate resources, and coordinate with the team to ensure efficient distribution of editing tasks.

Quality Control

Ensures that the post-production work meets the required quality standards. Review and provide feedback on edits, visual effects, sound design, and color grading to maintain consistency and achieve the desired creative vision.

Budget Management

As the post-production lead, responsible for managing the post-production budget. Track expenses, monitor costs, and make necessary adjustments to stay within budgetary constraints.

Workflow Optimization

You will need to streamlines the post-production workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity. Implement tools, systems, and processes that enhance collaboration, facilitate file management, and improve communication among team members.

Communication And Collaboration

You will work closely with Joseph, Tayla and Olessa to understand the post-production needs.

Technical Expertise

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in editing software, podcasting and livestream technology and best practices, visual effects techniques, and sound design tools.

Provide these insights to senior management.

Also provide guidance to the team on technical challenges and implement best practices.

Problem Solving And Troubleshooting

You will be responsible for resolving any technical or creative issues that arise during post-production. Troubleshoot problems, propose solutions, and make decisions to keep the project moving forward.

Collaboration With Other Departments

You will need to collaborate with other departments such as production, Liza for visual effects, and the music team for any RG Music that we may want to use for the content.

Co-create And Manage Editor Of Promotional Event Content

The post-production lead works with the editor to co-create and manage content tied to special promotional events such as PYP Intro Video, Rounglass India Center / Seattle University video, Mental Health in the Workplace video, etc. Collaborate on the creative direction with Joseph and provide guidance on editing techniques, oversee the editing process, and ensure that the final videos align with the event's objectives.

Oversee the management of master deliverables, which includes ensuring that all necessary files, versions, and formats are properly organized and stored. They also manage music cue sheets, which document the usage of copyrighted music in the project.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience of at least 8-15 years as a Senior Creative Producer for large live action and post projects
  • Demonstrable team management in managing creative teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Expertise in aligning creative and production efforts with stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing production workflows for efficiency.
  • Must be familiar with industry standard (or emerging) software programs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and should be detail oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 yearly. Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. In addition, Roundglass offers comprehensive benefits: Regular 9 federal holidays and 1 floating holiday, 3 days of bereavement, 2 days of jury duty, medical/dental/vision with PPO/HSA plans with employer contribution, EAP provided by CIGNA and Standard, Pet Insurance for your furry friends, Basic Life/LTD/STD employer paid, 401k plan with maximum match of $5,000.00, PTO (paid time off) 120 hours to start and increased by years of service. Some benefits are not applicable for Part-Time Employment & outside of the United States.
