Summary of Position:

Avivatech and Benchmark Technology Group, two sister divisions of Digital Check Corp. located in Alpharetta, GA, are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer to join its leadership team and oversee the development and implementation of its technology strategy.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Manage the technology budget and allocate resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services
  • Supervise, mentor, and inspire the technology team, including software development, product management, DevOps, and Technical Support
  • Establish and maintain best practices and standards for software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Partner with the CIO to ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and performance of the company's technology infrastructure and systems
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends and identify new opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence within the technology team and across the organization
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and board members

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development or related technical fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of delivering successful technology products and solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment methodologies and tools
  • Expertise in cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and empower a diverse and distributed technology team
  • Passion for innovation, learning, and continuous improvement
