  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Electrical Engineer
Our client in Greeneville, TN is a growing controls and automation company seeking an Electrical Engineer and/or Controls Engineer to assist with all manner of engineering needs, including panel design, short circuit current rating (SCCR) calculation, panel layout, drawing/CAD drafting, and technical documentation for industrial control panels and motor control centers (MCCs), across multiple projects. Must be able to work within specified timelines and communicate effectively with management on electrical specifications to complete projects within the design criteria.
The successful candidate will be comfortable designing and drawing circuits including components such as breakers, motor starters, VFDs, relays, PLCs, etc. Familiarity with 3-phase systems is a MUST
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the design of automation systems and control panels.
  • Perform load and SCCR calculations.
  • Incorporate customer requests/changes into designs as needed.
  • Assist in the creation of CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel renderings within the specified timeline per priorities communicated by management.
  • Assist with revisions when needed due to changes in the field or design changes.
  • Assist with the creation of as-built drawings based on revisions communicated by management.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with electrical drafting software such as AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical, EPLAN, etc.
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.), including very strong MS Excel skills.
  • Highest attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated, organized, and resourceful.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • D panel design experience is a major plus.
