As part of their journey to continue to expand, they require a visionary Marketing Director to lead and execute dynamic marketing strategies.

About the Role:

The Marketing Director will play a key role in two core areas: internal event marketing and external alcohol distribution marketing. This strategic role is responsible for leading the marketing team in promoting in-house events, growing the brand, and expanding the distribution footprint. From building exciting campaigns to connecting with distributors, you'll be essential in driving revenue and brand awareness, positioning them as a leading name in the craft spirits industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan for both in-house events and alcohol distribution, driving growth in both areas.
  • In-House Event Marketing: Oversee and ensure the promotion and success of 100+ annual events, including public events, corporate functions, and weddings. Manage all aspects, including local promotion, social media, and communication with key stakeholders.
  • Distribution and Brand Growth: Build and implement innovative alcohol distribution programs, working closely with the sales team and distributors across key regions. Develop compelling campaigns around unique product offerings.
  • Campaign Development: Create and coordinate high-impact marketing campaigns that engage customers, both in-house and at retail/distributor levels.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 4-5 marketing professionals, including potential oversight of outsourced services, and provide leadership to ensure the successful execution of all marketing activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, distillers, and external partners to promote the brand, ensuring smooth integration across all marketing channels.
  • Brand Storytelling: Elevate the brand’s identity through innovative marketing initiatives that communicate the craft, authenticity, and passion behind their spirits.

The Boxes You Must Tick:

  • Proven marketing experience within the alcohol, beverage, or hospitality industry.
  • A strong track record of success in alcohol distribution marketing or beverage brand building.
  • Experience leading and growing a brand from grassroots to regional/national distribution.
  • Strong understanding of event marketing and managing in-house promotional campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a marketing team.
  • Ability to work with sales teams and external partners to align marketing strategies with revenue goals.
  • Hands-on experience with modern marketing tools and trends, with the ability to adapt to new technology and strategies.
  • Creative thinker with strong organizational and planning skills, able to manage multiple projects effectively.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with nonprofit partnerships and community-driven campaigns.
  • Knowledge of running digital and social media campaigns for both events and product promotions.
  • Previous work with an agency that has specialized in alcohol or beverage marketing.

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
