Opportunity & Position Summary:

By establishing relationships with top private equity firms and PE-backed companies, Bespoke Partners is in high demand and looking to hire smart, driven recruiters who have the ability to take a leadership role in our growing functional pods.

As an Executive Recruiter, you will have the opportunity to conduct high profile search work, mentor entry level search professionals, and build strong relationships at key accounts in a fast-paced environment. With our team-based approach, you will gain deep knowledge on Private Equity, functional expertise across C-level roles, and Software/ SaaS business models in various end markets.



Responsibilities:

The Executive Recruiter plays a critical role in our respective functional pods (CEO, CFO, GTM and Product/Engineering), executing on high-profile searches & serving as a growing subject matter expert within the function. As a result, you will spend your time in the following areas:

  • Search Focus
    • Act as primary recruiter with a high degree of autonomy
    • Act as primary recruiter on high-profile searches with support of a Partner
    • Consistently manage 5+ searches at any given time
    • Serve as a go-to in the search market; have a credible and full perspective and opinion on what great looks like in the market
    • Can carry a search with client confidence and credibility
    • Independently manage entire client lifecycle from initial outreach through client interviews and compensation negotiations
  • Team Orientation
    • Fully understand client needs for search engagement and collaborate with search team, including research counterpart to develop effective search strategies
    • Collaborate effectively with research counterpart as search progresses to ensure strong, quality pipeline throughout the search process
    • Act as a role model & resource to more junior recruiters & new hires within the team
    • Support key initiatives within pod as appropriate

    • Capture and maintain accurate information on candidates in our systems to both drive search progress and enable effective relationship management across the firm
    • Work effectively with Leadership Advisory practice if engaged on search to ensure alignment across the search process and timely turnaround of deliverables


Professional Experience/ Qualifications:

  • Professional Work Experience in Fast-Paced Environment
    • Ideally 4-7+ years search experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment
    • Understand professional rigor and high standards associated with a client services business
  • Excellent Communications Skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
    • Ability to present thoughtful, detailed, and accurate information in written deliverables, over the phone, in-person or over video
  • Client Management / Service/ Relationship Building Skills
    • Experience in a client-facing role (e.g. professional services, sales, consulting, etc.)
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, confidence, and desire to contribute to a team-based, service driven culture
    • Experience in search, private equity or software desirable
  • Organizational Skills & Detail Orientation
    • Ability to multi-task and project manage in a fast-paced environment across a variety of search engagements
    • Detailed-oriented and ability to demonstrate consistency in communication with clients and candidates, including white-glove service and high-quality deliverables
  • Strong Desire to Grow & Excel at Executive Search
    • Demonstrates solid business judgement and high level of determination
    • Ambition to excel and develop onwards to Partner level through promotions awarded based on performance
